OUTSIDERS POEM

OUTSIDERS POEM
BARS AROUND THE WINDOWS CAGES FENCING US IN
WHEN EVER WE WENT OUTSIDE
DEAD SILENCE WOULD GO THROUGH OUR EARS AND SILENT
WHISPERS JUDGING THE WAY WE LOOK
SAD, HELPLESS WOULD BE THE FEELINGS
FOR THE CONFUSION OF NOT KNOWING WHICH WAY WE SHOULD GO
STAYING STILL AND JUDGING IS WHAT PEOPLE DID EVERY SINGLE DAY
PEOPLE STARRING AS IF WE HAD SOMETHING ON OUR FACE
SPEECHLESS THINKING OF WHAT WE SHOULD DO TO STOP THE JUDGMENTS OF THE WAY WE LOOK AND THE WAY WE DRESS
PRISONERS CAGED IN BEHIND THE CLOSED BARS
TRAPPED WITH THE POWERFUL WORD
"HATE"
